“The Cube”

Simulating the texture of woven bamboo, the three-level feature wall is assembled from hundreds of digitally fabricated forms that respond to the rhythm and module of the buildings glass and steel façade.

Through the use of parametric modeling software I was able to conceive and document for digital fabrication the wood surface elements for this project, which was awarded , AIA Pennsylvania COTE, AIA New Jersey Built Sustainability and IIDA Pennsylvania Honorable Mention.
