Nice to meet you.

For the past several years I have been engaged in a variety of work; most recently as an interior architect at a premier design firm, but also as an exhibit fabricator, prototype designer, historic preservationist, carpenter, educator and visual artist.  Over that time I have accumulated a depth of knowledge when it comes to creating objects and environments. From within these roles I have found a distinct way of working that combines technical skills with conceptual vision, craft with expression, and values and experimental and inquisitive approach to handling materials.

My approach to making is informed by experiences as a sculptor. I enjoy an interesting story, and often at the core of my work is a narrative surrounding the unique contextual parameters of sites, materials or the activities that take place there.
