Nice to meet you.
For the past several years I have been engaged in a variety of work; most recently as an interior architect at a premier design firm, but also as an exhibit fabricator, prototype designer, historic preservationist, carpenter, educator and visual artist. Over that time I have accumulated a depth of knowledge when it comes to working with objects and creating environments. From within these roles I have developed a distinct way of working that combines technical skills with conceptual vision, craft with expression, and an approach to handling materials that is thoughtful, genuine and reflects my own processes and curiosity.
My approach to making is informed by experience as a sculptor. I enjoy an interesting story, and often at the core of my work is a narrative surrounding the unique context of sites, materials or the activities that take place there.
